Sunshine and Stripes

I bought this awesome double knit stripe from Hilco months ago and finally got motivated to make a top out of it. This top came together SUPER fast! Like 30 minutes! Rob didn't even have time to complain about the noise of the sewing machine! Haha! The pattern is from the Hilco magazine Knip Mode.

And we've finally been seeing some sunshine! Winter went on so long I had almost forgotten what the sun looked like...

Thanks Shirley! I like the magazine. It's like a cheap version of Ottobre. There are usually two or three things I like in each issue.

I cannot believe I lived there for 7 years and never went to Hilco. It looks like that is the only Hilco location although they sell to other stores, right?? Anyway, I LOVE this top. I MEAN LOVE IT!! It's soooooo cute and flattering!! Really really adorable Kelly!!!!

Jennifer made me laugh out loud and she is right! This looks very good on you. It reminds me that I need to make some new knit tops.....

I LOVE Hilco. I miss going with you, spending too much time and money and being able to pet the fabric.

ummm we need that pattern!
It looks great!
I feel that way after this last week... lol... Micah was sick at the beginning of the week and then we were hit by a 3 day rain storm- constant rain. I actually love rain but after having a sick child it felt like torture...
