Cabin in the Hills

This quilt was made probably more than a year ago from this Moda Bake Shop recipe.

It was a joint effort. We were teaching Paula and Lauren how to quilt! They made the blocks and then I put the top together. It hung over the fabric display for a long time until I finally got around to quilting it!

I am really enjoying Instagram! I have never really done much on Facebook, but since Instagram can automatically upload photos to Facebook, I actually post stuff!

This is the back of the quilt. I love these tiny deer! It looks like a forest blanketed in snow.

The fabric was called Hideaway.

I was wondering when you would finally finish this one. But it did look really pretty hanging in the shop. I wish I could have seen the little deer backing in person, but I guess on the blog is good enough. I'm glad you finally get to snuggle underneath it!

Love this Kelly! I did a double take when you said Lauren and Paula! Then re read that it was over a year ago. I love the soothing colors in this and the fabric up close is perfect for Germany. I love Instagram too! I always say to Jon that it can make any mundane item/person/whatever look awesome and then someone I know started instagraming and I take that back... Their photos are awful. Didn't think it was possible with instagram:)

and it's not anyone you know. I just thought it was funny that I always thought it can make any photo cool till this person started posting their photos.
