MMM 7

I made pants! Vogue 1051. I love pattern! It's supposed to be low waisted, but I have such a short torso that they are still tall on me. Oh, and apparently I'm short enough to cut the pant legs two inches too short (because of a fabric miscalculation) and still have them be long enough for me with a 1 1/2" hem! I don't know if I should feel happy about that or not.... Sorry about the squinty eyes but the sun was really bright today. The fabric is just a cotton canvas. The hardest part about this pattern was the welt pockets. After that they went together like a breeze.

Wow Kelly, I'm so impressed that you're participating in this. I would last maybe 3 days wearing stuff I've made for myself. And PANTS? seriously? I'm very impressed and jealous of your mad skillz.
Enjoy the sunshine! Believe it or not, my daughter had a "snow" day today. I had a little laugh when I thought of what my friends in Germany would say.

Awesome job! I can't even imagine making pants. I say feel happy you will never wear high waters... unless you accidentally cut your pants to short when you are hemming them... like me... of course then I just decide they should have been capris and the world is good again!

YOU DID PANTS!!! Fantastic! I don't find pants easy. I've only made one pair I've totally been happy with and that was a million years ago. That's a cute pattern. I am looking at the Jalie patterns for jeans. They get good reviews. I'll keep looking for fabrics for you. Didn't see anything the other day... It's hit and miss @ you know where.
