Wie grün sind deine Blätter...
This year I insisted on having a real Christmas tree. We've had an artificial tree for the last ten years and I just wanted to have something more natural this year. Don't get me wrong, our artifical tree is really nice. In ten years I've never found one I like better. But this year I just wanted a change.
So Rob suggested we get a potted tree so we weren't de-foresting. I went last Thursday and found a nice one at the new Baumarkt. (Which is HUGE! I may never go to Hornbach again...) Anyway, I'm glad I went last week because I was there today and there were NO potted ones left! Anyway....
So I got this cool pot to put it in and decorated it with the new Christmas papers from K&Co (which are FINALLY available in the store! Whew! What nightmares with shipping this year!!!) So... voila!

Your tree is really pretty. We got one our first christmas in the old house and after christmas we planted it in our yard. We got to enjoy it for the next 8 years. Potted is the best way to go. Merry Christmas and miss ya!!!!
Beautiful!
Hey Mary! We miss you too!
So pretty! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Eat some lebkuchen for me!
Kelly! AWESOME photography!! I especially love your second picture. Nice job!
Beautiful tree! We didn't get one this year. Not a big one, anyway...I got one of the little ones from the shop, and set it up on my cedar chest in the dining room/living room area. I haven't decorated it though, I need to acquire some tiny ornaments for it.
how big is it? It's really cute! Show a better photo of the pot! one year we had a potted rosemary christmas tree.
Beautiful tree! I'm glad to hear scrappy christmas stuff is in the store!!
Jenny P, it's about as tall as me. It's a good size. I'll post some pictures of the pot when I take some better ones! :)
